Waist: Bend to one side to find the natural crease of your waist. Measure at this point keeping the tape comfortably loose around your waist.
Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your leg.

I returned the two pairs. I have purchased pants in the past but the pants before had a slightly elastic waistband. These did not and your descriptions are not clear about that online.
United StatesDisappointed in this item. It’s true to size in the waist and the length. fabric and construction quality seem good. Unfortunately it is skinny cut like a yoga pant - tight in the thigh and calf. Definitely not an activewear pant like I’ve purchased from Nike Golf and other companies in the past. I don’t have small legs but I don’t have giant weight lifter legs either . The pants look ridiculously tight in the legs on me and they cannot be returned as they were apparently final sale. Because of this I don’t feel like I can take a chance on ordering from Bobby Jones again.
